Speaker Bio: Over a decade ago, and without even realizing it, I was ensnared in the horrors of sex trafficking, manipulated and abused by my high school track coach turned husband, who eventually groomed me to say yes, and without the least bit of remorse. The scars I carry are both physical and emotional, a testament to the unimaginable pain that can be inflicted upon the most vulnerable among us. But today, I stand before you not just as a survivor, but a "thriver," a warrior, a beacon of hope for those who still suffer in silence.

My journey towards healing and recovery began when I found solace in the arms of the Lord. It was in my faith that I discovered the strength to break free from the chains that bound me, to rebuild my life, and to find a new purpose. The darkness of my past gave way to a guiding light that compelled me to minister to others who have endured similar horrors. It is a calling that I embrace with all my heart. This is my story…
